Ghostly Evidence
In Brazil, a court heard evidence from a medium that a woman accused of murder was innocent. The medium produced two letters, allegedly dictated by the murder victim, which stated that the accused was innocent. No word on whether the verdict will be appealed.
This week's article will continue the story of the R101's tragic crash and its aftermath. Since I have finished reading The Airmen Who Would Not Die, I have been thinking a lot more about the possibility of an afterlife. I was brought up as an Anglican, and an afterlife is certainly part of that faith. I wasn't always clear in my own mind as to what kind of an afterlife it would be.
I suppose I pictured a beautiful place with meadows and streams, which would be neither too hot or too cold. It certainly would include animals, and I would see friends and family who had died before me there. It's interesting that when I picture Heaven, it's something that I'm already familiar with - a temperate climate, say. Not that I would be disappointed to find that it looks like a tropical island, but I think we all picture it differently depending on our culture and needs. For example, my life is quite busy with lots of demands on my time and energy, so Heaven is a place where all is peaceful and no one has to rush.
