In response to reported incidents where police officers have been chased by a Bigfoot and campers and homeowners alike have reported sightings, Bigfoot hunter C. Thomas Biscardi travelled to the Fort Apache Indian Reservation to conduct a search for the elusive creature.
In addition to the sightings, sounds described as “blood-curdling screams” have been heard at night over several months.
A local resident led Biscardi and the team investigating the allegations to a cave thought to be the animal's lair but no trace of the Sasquatch was found.
Biscadi has estimated that there are about 3.500 of these animals nationwide. He came up with this figure by adding up the number of reported sightings and subtracting those he determined to be hoaxes or cases of mistaken identity.
