In response to something happend to me posted by tiffany12:Hi Tiffany,
Welcome! Thank you for sharing your experiences.
When something traumatic occurs, in some cases the emotions are powerful enough that the event is replayed in that same location. It would seem like this is what you are experiencing, almost like watching a movie of the event.

» ninasparx - GOIN CRAZY!!!!! *sorry so long
Well to start things off, i've never really believed in spirits/ghosts. The subject has ALWAYS fascinated me but i have always been scared to see anything. Until i met my best friend a little over 3 years ago. When i met him he lived above a funeral home. He told me that he saw spirits all the time. As real people. Kind of like they were just passing thru on their way out. He has seen spirits all his life. Every story he told me, just gave me goosebumps and freaked me out. I never saw anything at that apartment or anywhere else for that matter. Now here we are 3 years later, living together in a different apartment. We were talking last nite about dreams that we have been having lately. And he told me that he had a dream where he was leading the ghosts of children into a church. and it freaked him out. So, i asked him if he has felt anything in the apartment since he moved in. He said not really. However, here's my dilemma. It started around valentine's day. I had spent the nite one nite and he left for work the next day, leaving me sleeping in his room. I was startled awake by the voice of his brother yelling his name from the steps. I opened my eyes, heard him walk down the steps and close the front door. Only thing is, it couldnt have been his brother, because he was working with his brother that day. I looked out the window and no one was around our place. Then about a month ago, he was startled awake by what he says was his mom calling his name from the stairwell. I work at nights so i'm home all day, and i hear doors closing and gates opening and closing all day. If i hear a little noise the landlords dogs always bark. One nite i was trying to sleep and i felt like there was someone sitting outside of my window. i was so scared i got up and locked the door. I havent been that scared since i was a little girl. Then the clincher so to speak. My best friend has a laptop that he runs his music off of. I had a playlist going one day while i was cleaning the apartment. The way it works is theres a shuffle button so the music will keep going until you personally turn it off. So imagine my surprise when the music stopped. Sometimes it glitches and that happens...however, when i went to investigate, the song hadnt stopped, it was paused. I didnt pause it. and there was no one else in the house. No more than a week later, i'm watching a movie at about midnite. And out of no where the laptop's screensaver goes off. no one was near it. no wind or whatever. i looked at the songs on the waitlist and they were two songs that my best friend plays acoustic. i didnt put them in the waitlist. Everytime i've experienced something my best friend isnt around. and im starting to get used to it. But, after that long story, my QUESTION is this..... with spirits coming to him in dreams and coming thru me, it seems like they are actively seeking him out. sometimes by name. is that possible??? do spirits do that???? he's not bothered by it, just curious what it all means. is he supposed to help these spirits cross over or what not, cause honestly thats what he feels? He sees more in his dreams though then in real life. and i said earlier that the dream the other night had him leading the ghosts of children into a church.... Am i making all this stuff up in my head???? could i really be experiencing them trying to find him??? i'm just really confused, as is he, and i hope to find some answers to these questions. if you can help i would appreciate it greatly! thanks for listening. 'if anyone can help me please email me at ninasparx@hotmail.com' I'm going crazy here.Becky

Nina: Spirit is real! Those that do rescue (sending spirits on) work are experienced at what they do and it is not random nor frivolous work. How can someone who knows nothing about the subject and hasn't even opened themselves to learn, be of any help to those that are spirit form? Please seek someone who knows what they are doing before opening to spirit.God bless, J

In response to Ghosts,, posted by Spirit_whisperer:In which case, it would be advisable for you to shut down and live your life in peace, rather than a constant buzz from other dimensions. To do this, it is necessary to be open when you are prepared for the input and closed when you are doing other things. They are not in charge of your life...YOU ARE IN CHARGE!
Every morning on waking have a little ritual time where you say a simple affirmation (This will keep your mind and day on a positive base) then put a white light bubble around your whole body...this can be seen like a bubble blown from a child's blow pipe, complete with the rainbow patch (rainbows are mystical, magical symbols of bridges, communication, connection, etc. and they have a pot of gold at the end). This bubble will protect you from negative thoughts from within and without. It is real and valid.

In response to Ghosts,, posted by spiritalk:I would agree with what spiritalk has said. A daily affirmation will help; some people prefer to think of it as a prayer, asking for a white light of God/Jesus/Angels to surround them as they go through their day.
Would you like to share a bit more about what you are seeing? When did you first notice them? How often do you see them? Are they always the same entities or do they vary?
Take care.

If you are really curious, you could always contact a paranormal investigator.

- do i have 1?
How do you know if a paranormal investigator is for real? And where do you find one?
I've never seen a ghost, I don't think, or had any close encounters with spirits. I do believe in the spirit world, though.

In response to do i have 1? posted by LauriePK:The paranormal investigator will not be doing things like telling you that you are cursed and for a fee, he or she can make the curse go away. From what I understand, no one gets rich from ghost hunting and a lot of investigators are volunteers.
If you are looking for a paranormal investigator, many of them have Web sites. Do a google search for "paranormal investigator" or "ghost hunter" (leave the quotation marks in place and add a + (plus sign) and the name of your city or town.
I hope this helps. :o)
