That's an interesting take on it. One can think of other examples where a talent can be both, though. Someone that has a talent for singing or acting, say, can have great material success at the expense of a healthy lifestyle (they abuse alcohol or drugs, have lousy personal relationships, etc.). Great wealth can be used for the good or can also lead to lousy lifestyle choices. It's all dependent on what you do with it. And if you choose to develop your talent, you need to be prepared for all the consequences that can come with it.
