In response to Cleansing posted by spiritalk:
Why would you connect directly to the stuck spirit?? I would rather connect to my guardian and my spirit guides that protect me and identify the stuck spirit that way. By connecting though my Guardian and my Spirit Guides I can find out what is needed in the situation and not put myself at risk! Why would I put myself in the direct path of a disruptive spirit energy?

Once it is determined what is needed the method of cleansing can be altered accordingly. My example above is of a cleansing method that has worked for me and was developed with the help of my Spirit Guides. Each of us has a Guardian and that is the place to connect with God's white light of protection! DO NOT connect directly to the suck spirit whatever you do!

Do you think that a homeowner should be required to disclose any paranormal activity when trying to sell a home?

I absolutely think homeowners should share about paranormal activity to potential buyers. My neighbours had an exorcism before they moved into their house -- who knows what their experience would've been without the exorcist?

Did they have specific concerns about the home? What led them to make the decision to call in an exorcist?

Yes, I think full disclosure of any of this kind of activity is only fair. People should have the information needed to make the best decisions they can. While I usually sense spirits in the places where I have lived and could choose for myself is this was an ok condition to be in (sharing my home with previous tenets now in spirit), others do not have that ability and should not have to find out the history of the home after the fact.

I have to agree with you on this one. Right now, I don't think the seller is obligated to disclose this type of information but they should be. At least, then you know what you are walking into.

You know, I don't think I know why she had the house exorcised! I think I was so surprised to learn that she had one - and we were in a group of four or five people - the question never was raised. My husband said there was a boys' home on their property, but not in their house, and the boys were allegedly abused. He also thinks the whole property was exorcised, not just the house.

I'm sure there was a reason for it. The exorcism is a pretty big gun to bring out "just in case". I'm not surprised you were too surprised to ask the question. That's not something people normally discuss.

» Astrology72 - Living in haunted houses...

I lived in 2 -- I really wasn't sure I believed in ghosts until I moved into the places - then there was just no doubt. It wasn't so much scary -- the things that happened were much more frightening in retrospect than when they occurred. Events were so astonishing and (generally) happened so quickly there wasn't much time to respond.
