The other thing grandpa has done is given me is the taste of MacIntosh Taffy. I don't eat it because I find it is too hard on my teeth but sometimes I get the sensation of having just eaten some during meditation so I know he is coming close to remind me of good times and let me know he is watching out for me.

In response to Why the dimes??? posted by sacred_insights:After my beloved grandmother passed away, I'm sure she checked in with me. I was back to work after her funeral. On her casket, there had been a beautiful spray of roses. So I'm working away - I was taking a late lunch that day and it was pretty quiet in the office. All of a sudden I smelled roses. For some reason, I said (in a low voice) "Granny, is that you?" The aroma became more intense.
I even looked around the office to see if someone had received flowers that day. Nope. Not a single floral arrangement. I sat back down and tried to work. Next, something tickled me at the back of my neck. I turned around but, of course, no one was there.
That would have to be the most intense experience I've had with the aromas. I just take them in stride now. They tend to come when I need them most - lonely, stressed, etc. I don't know if they can hear me or not but I talk to them and thank them for checking in.

Two days ago I found out that the mother of a friend of the family passed. Now this friend happens to be a Roman Catholic priest, and was very supportive to my family when both my father and finally my mother passed away. When I found out about his mothers death I thought I should make an effort to get out to the funeral home. Needless to say I missed the viewing at the funeral home yesterday.
I woke up this morning thinking that I should have gone to the viewing. I also thought that I should go to the funeral this morning, but with work and every thing I thought that I would be difficult to get out of the office. I still had a nagging feeling about not going to the viewing as I got ready for work. As I got ready for work I jumped into the shower and was washing up. As I was washing I heard the sound of metal hitting the tub. I looked down and between my feet lay a DIME. I can only take this as a message from my mother that it was important for me to go to this funeral. I cancelled what I had to do in the office and made the drive to the funeral. I was very well received by the friend who had lost his mother, and I think my mother was pleased that I attended.
Up until now I have been a little spectacle of the whole dime thing, but this dime fell into the tub while I was in it. This is too much to be a coincidence. I know my mother and father are watching over us

i have been finding dimes since i was 15. that has been 20 years now. it started on a trip to san diego. everywhere we went, we received change in dimes. from then it just escalated to at least 5 a day. around the 10 year mark, i actually paid one months rent on dimes i had found the month before. $245 dollars worth. whomever leaves them for me started getting creative in the past few years. when i was helping a customer, she opened her wallet and a dime flew out of it and hit me in the head. i told her the story and she gave me the dime. when i tell people about it, they seem to start finding them. i seem to fimd them when i am trying to make a hard decision or when i am feeling down.
i am excited that others experience this. it has been an odd thing that is unexplained in my life for such a long time now.

Hi,
I too have been finding dimes for about a year and a half. Sometimes at home, a store the library, a parking lot etc. The other day in my bed. My oldest daughter has begun finding them also. we have had a very trying three years, so maybe it is someone watching over us or maybe someone trying to tell us something.. I am glad to hear that I am not alone.

Wow...I'm sure glad I looked this up. I thought it was just some weird occurance that was only happening to me. Weird stuff usually happens to me so I almost brushed it off. I read the other posts and I haven't anybody die around me or anything like that...so where would my dimes be coming from?? I find them in my shoe or they fall out of places or I walk in and stop...on a dime....no pun intended. Just looking for answers. Maybe I should save them and one day I will buy a house off of my weird dimes, heheh!
